My 2½ year old daughter began at Toddletown Nursery not long after we moved to London from Australia. She settled in very quickly after quite a major change in her life. I attribute this to the caring and attentive nature of both Urvashi & Karen.
My daughter couldn’t be happier at nursery, she is absolutely thriving due to the many and varied activities she has the chance to do. My daughter has been in a number of childcare settings and it has been Toddletown that she has settled into the quickest and shown continual happiness and willingness to go each day. Urvashi and Karen have created an atmosphere that I believe is an extension from the home, somewhere where the children feel safe, happy and are being educated and entertained to the highest level whilst having the ability to be themselves.
We have been meaning to email you both to thank you for the wonderful care you are providing for our daughter and also to let you know how happy and impressed we are with Toddletown nursery. Adriana has adapted and settled into her new surroundings with such incredible ease, she is clearly very happy and chatters away to us all afternoon and weekends too about the activities she has been up to and of course about her friends, teachers and Tilly the Toddletown bear. She really gets excited about coming to nursery – even getting her smock out at the weekends. Adriana clearly enjoys taking part in all the activities – especially the messy ones and has been progressing in leaps and bounds not only in recognising colours and numbers, but also socially, most noticeably in her improved sharing ability.
As parents, this is exactly what we wanted from a nursery – a stable environment where our daughter is happy, having fun and being well nurtured at the same time. Many congratulations on creating such a wonderful nursery – we have no doubt Adriana will continue to benefit from her time with you at this very important stage.
I moved to Chiswick from Southern Ireland in February of this year. I was very fortunate to find Toddletown Nursery a number of weeks later. My three year old son has been happy there since the first day he arrived. I feel this is down to the fact that both Urvashi and Karen are consistently warm and friendly and clearly very experienced in their line of work. It appears to me that each child’s character is embraced and nurtured, yet alongside this freedom the children are guided to respect and be mindful of one another which results in a very relaxed, happy atmosphere. The children obviously feel safe, respected and cared for. Ben has learnt so much already in the few months he has been there, he surprises me and my family daily with snippets of information he shares with us on subjects he has covered in nursery. I am kept well informed about what topics my son has and is due to cover, through a weekly newsletter, which I find extremely useful, as it allows me to be a part of my son’s learning.
The nursery is run in a large open plan room, which allows the children plenty of space to play by themselves if they wish to, yet they are never alone and constantly watched over. Equally, they have a play area outside, which is bright and wholly safe. I would highly recommend Toddletown to anyone looking for a pre-school nursery. Settling my son into a new country was made 100 times easier the day he started in Toddletown. Thank you Urvashi and Karen.
Thank you for the weekly updates on what Dolly and the rest of her little friends get up to at Toddletown Nursery. I love seeing the photos, I especially found the ones of Dolly doing her activities wearing her Batman mask very amusing! It’s great because when Dolly leaves the nursery she chats all the way home in the car about what she got up to and can’t wait to show her Granny all the artwork she creates and as you know there’s a lot! Dolly’s awareness of the days of the week and seasons is very obvious, more than her brother whose in Year 1 at school, so I guess you must spend a lot of time discussing those, it’s like driving home with my own personal weather girl in the car.
Thank you Urvashi, to you and your team. I’m so pleased with Dolly’s development since she has been at nursery. When I had to keep her off some of last week because of her cough she cried because she wasn’t able to attend nursery so I’m glad she loves going there.
